Thanks for all the comments so far. Keiiii: You're right about the strange missing light from the lantern. I actually tried to put it there but I decided it would confuse the image with too many lightsources. The main thing is the light from behind. But probably if I made a soft warm light from the lantern the right way it would improve the image. Livingrope: Thanks for the comment. I do love Rockwell and have made many Rockwell inspired images. Didnt think it was shining through on this one. But you made me look twice and you're right, there is still some Rockwell in it.

I really like it! It seems to give of a sense like it could be sculpted like the minatures you see in the glass cases of expensive boutique shops. It's really enchanting. I had a question, it's about the moon. It seems a little flat, but then I thought that maybe you didn't want it to distract from the main focus of the child? Anyway, I love your work.
